The War, The Left and Veeru Paaji !!

Veeru Paaji was in the news for quite some days and I finally decided to have a look!

A look at the timeline, of how the entire episode played out, and I can't help but think that age certainly seems to have slowed down Veeru Paaji. Why exactly is he trying to be "facetious" about an almost year old video?

My tweet was an attempt to be facetious rather than one to bully anyone over their opinion. Agreement or disagreement wasn't even a factor.

The girl was in the news recently for the #StudentsAgainstABVP protest (which Mr. Sehwag conveniently ignored). Somebody digs up an old video and then screenshots exactly one frame that can be used to give the entire story an anti-national twist and succeeds in the said objective. Pretty sad, indeed.


I had a look at the entire video and the girl does make some valid points. But sadly, a single screenshot from the video has been taken entirely out of context to label her as an anti-national!
That's the price you pay for not being the Right, I guess!

All the more reason, why we need more of Gurmehars and less of wisecracking ex-cricketers!
